Recycle Cell Phones & Ink Cartridges For Kids

Every time you replace an ink cartridge in your home or office printers or upgrade your cell phone you could be helping raise money for Children's Miracle Network. Special cell phone and ink cartridge recycling programs available to RE/MAX Associates easily turn these seemingly useless items into valuable CMN fundraising dollars.

These recycling programs require very little effort and have been extremely successful in raising thousands of dollars for Children's Miracle Network. To make it even easier, both programs are run through the same company. To start donating your ink cartridges and cell phones, simply contact Barb Crawford at (800) 845-8851. You will be provided with an informational packet and pre-paid shipping labels.

This program does not have to be limited to your office and can in fact be a great opportunity to get involved in your community! Some ideas include:
  • Pre-publicize and solicit donations of old cell phones at your booth during the next town fair
  • Make this ongoing fundraiser community-wide and ask members of your town (via advertisements in newspapers or on flyers) to drop off their old cell phones and emptyink cartridges at your office
  • Ask local schools if they would put their empty ink cartridges in large RE/MAX-CMN display box which you could empty once a month. This would also work well with office buildings in your area
  • Talk to the managers of cell phone stores and mall kiosks, as they may be willing to donate the cell phones that their customers trade in for newer models
All money raised through these programs is sent directly to Children's Miracle Network. The Regional Office receives quarterly reports detailing the amount of credit earned by each office.
